Our old boys and girls from the Academy now in various High schools in Nakuru County are progressing well in their academics and life in High School.
Our mentorship team yesterday(19/3/2019) visited the first batch of the students most of whom are now in their last year of high school awaiting the national exam (KCSE:Kenya Certificate of secondary Education) in November this year. This KCSE class of 2019 is our pioneer KCPE (Kenya certificate of Primary Education) class of 2015 at the Academy.
The first phase of the High school visits took place in Njoro Girls High School in Njoro: Esther Wanjiru Mwaniki, Teresia Wanjiru Gitonga, Waithera Freshia Nyambura, Esther Wambui, Mwandikhi Silvia Kung'u, Jomo Kenyatta Girls High School; Nelly Wairimu Kimani and Jomo Kenyatta Boys High School in Bahati, Nakuru; James Muriu, Kelvin Mwaura & Ibrahim Ngugi. We were pleased to note that the good academic foundation and discipline instilled while at Moto Hope Academy has been maintained over the years and our students still perform exemplarily. Some have also continued to take up leadership roles in their various schools; case in point Esther Wanjiru the Home Science and Library prefect at Njoro Girls.
The team was able to assess their progress as well as encourage, motivate and advise our young learners on academics, discipline and responsible living. We are glad to journey with our children from the start of their school life and as they climb the academic ladder and are glad to support and guide them to succeed.
