We are so happy, blessed and grateful for this new school year! It is one week since the children reported back to school on the 26th July 2021 after a 10-day break. We have enrolled 42 new students so far and it is great to see that they have adapted quickly and even made new friends already.
We are filled with gratitude to God and to everyone who has made this school term a success! We broke for the July 2021 School Holidays on 15th July 2021 in a very colourful closing ceremony! We wish all the children and staff a great time with their families!
Our children in Pre-Primary 2 had such a beautiful graduation ceremony on 15th July 2021! They are excited and eager to join Grade 1 on 27th July and we are super proud of them! Congratulations to our little ones!
On 10th July 2021 beneficiaries of the Molo Maternal and Child Health Program attended a very animated and comprehensive day-long training at Moto Hope Center.
Molo Maternal and Child Health Program's Community Health Volunteers and St. Francis Moto Hope Dispensary Team hold their July Meeting on 7/7/2021 at Moto Hope Center.
A total of 205 Under five-year-old children from Mutirithia Village (Molo Springs Academy, New Testament ECD, Blessed Kids ECD, and Rosepark Academy) were on 6th July 2021 de-wormed and given Vitamin C tablets in the Molo Maternal and Child Health Program's Medical Outreach.
A total of 214 Under five-year-old children from Kandenye and Muthinji villages (St. Francis Moto Hope Academy, Kandenye Primary School, Muthinji Nursery, and Kaptembwo Community ECD) were on 29th June 2021 de-wormed and given Vitamin C tablets in the Molo Maternal and Child Health Program's Medical Outreach. Kaptembwo Community ECD also received COVID-19 Hygiene equipment that all the schools in the program already received in the first phase of their issuance.
Our Pre-School children (Play Group, PP1 & PP2) were on 29th June 2021 de-wormed and given Vitamin C tablets in the Molo Maternal and Child Health Program's Medical Outreach.
A total of 126 Under five-year-old children from Kiambiriria Village (Kiambiriria Primary, St. Mirriam ECD, and St. Peters ECD) and 49 from Kapsita Village (Mwangaza Primary) were on 24th June 2021 de-wormed and given Vitamin C tablets in the Molo Maternal and Child Health Program's Medical Outreach.
A total of 231 Under five-year-old children from Ngenia Village (Ngenia ECD, Exodus E.C.D, By Grace E.C.D.E, By-Gum E.C.D.E, and Set Kotes Primary) and 32 from Kiambu Village (Kiambu Nursery) were on 22nd June 2021 de-wormed and given Vitamin C tablets in the Molo Maternal and Child Health Program's Medical Outreach.
At St. Francis Moto Hope Academy, we seek to educate and empower the whole child. Besides the curriculum, our mentorship program journeys with the children outside class to equip them with the necessary life skills and knowledge to nurture them into wholesome persons.
